Diode Laser Training Day

See the biofilm. Treat the biofilm. Watch it change.

A practical day for dental hygienists and oral health therapists. Learn what you can legally and confidently use in everyday practice, then put your hands on the laser and do it.

Why This Day Exists

Not another laser course.

Most laser training tries to cover every application a laser has ever had. You leave with a certificate, a folder, and very little you can use at your next appointment.

This day is deliberately narrower. It covers what a hygienist or oral health therapist can legally and confidently fold into everyday practice, and it stops there. You will know exactly where your scope ends and where the dentist takes over.

You will also see something almost no other laser course can show you: the biofilm itself, before and after, under phase-contrast microscopy.

What You Take Home

By 5pm on the day.

  • Understand laser physics well enough to make clinical decisions, without the engineering lecture.
  • Work safely with dental lasers, including eye protection, controlled areas and smoke evacuation.
  • Know the evidence behind laser-assisted periodontal therapy, and what it does and does not claim.
  • Integrate a laser into Guided Biofilm Therapy and periodontal maintenance appointments.
  • Use photobiomodulation for the indications where it genuinely helps.
  • Recognise when treatment sits inside your scope and when it goes to the dentist.
  • Explain laser therapy to a patient in words they will understand and accept.
  • Walk back into your practice on Monday and actually use it.

What Makes This Different

You will not just be told it works. You will watch it work.

This is where the day stops being a laser course and becomes a Microscope First day. Very few laser educators anywhere can put this in front of you.

See it

Real biofilm under phase-contrast microscopy, chairside, with oral microbiome assessment.

Treat it

Laser biofilm management inside a genuine hygiene workflow, not a demonstration bench.

Watch it change

Back under the microscope, plus photobiomodulation and real clinical cases.

We can't separate oral health from whole-body health. Once you have seen what is living in that pocket, you never treat it the same way again.

Who Should Be In The Room

Twelve people. That is the whole point.

Hands-on time does not scale. Twelve is the number where everybody gets the laser in their hand and gets watched doing it properly.

This is for you if

  • You are a dental hygienist or oral health therapist
  • Your practice has a diode laser, or is about to buy one
  • You want to use it on Monday, not read about it
  • You want to know exactly where your scope ends

This is not for you if

  • You want every laser application covered in a day
  • You are after hard tissue, endodontics or peri-implantitis protocols. That is the dentist program, in development
  • You would rather watch a recording than do the work

The Detail
